Mielno is a coastal town in Koszalin County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Mielno. It lies approximately 12 kilometres north-west of Koszalin and 135 km north-east of the regional capital Szczecin. The town has a population of 3,200. Mielno is a well-known tourist destination with sandy beaches on the Baltic Sea coast. It lies on a spit between the sea and the large Jamno lake. It is contiguous with the neighbouring resort of Unieście.

The Municipality of Wieliszew is a rural gmina in Legionowo County,Masovian Voivodeship,in east-central Poland.It lies 7 kilometres north-east of Legionowo and 26 km north of Warsaw and covers an area of 102.23 square kilometres,with a total population of 8,483 units.

Municipality of Cautano, Italy

 

 

Cautano Municipality of the Province of Benevento, at the foot of “Dormiente del Sannio” in a central area of ​​the Vitulanese valley. It extends over a hilly and mountainous area. Once, the country was divided into several scattered villages, Cautano, Cacciano and the historical nucleuses of the latter Fornillo Trescine Plan. In addition to the village there are the hamlets of San Giovanni, Sala and Maione. The territory of the Commune of Cautano falls within the Regional Park of Taburno-Camposauro, which houses the seat and the Montana of Taburno. The country’s economy is mainly agricultural, oil is the main agricultural product together with wine. The Municipality is committed to foster the well being of its citizens and promotes actions to foster civic engagement and participation at EU level. The Municipality of Graffignano is in the Province of Viterbo, Lazio region (Italy), about 80 kilometres northwest of Rome and about 20 kilometres northeast of Viterbo. It has a population of 2,273 and an area of 29.1 square kilometres.

Its aims are:

Promotion of local interests to the national and European government, as ANCI Lazio member (National Associatin of Italian Municipalities);

Distribution of info,consultancies,assistance to the citizenship;

Planning of workshops on matters related to local administration activities;

Promotion and encouragement of civic education initiatives to increase knowledge on EU policies;

Municipality of Birgu, Malta

 

 

Il-Birgu, also known by its title Città Vittoriosa, is an old fortified city on the south side of the Grand Harbour in the South Eastern Region of Malta. Birgu is ideally situated  for sale anchorage and over time has developed a very long history with maritime, mercantile and military activities. Birgu is a very old locality with its origins reaching back to medieval times. Prior to the establishment of Valletta as capital and main city of Malta, military powers that wanted to rule the Maltese islands would need to obtain control of  Birgu due to its significant position in the Grand Harbour. It was the base of the Order of St John and capital city of Malta from 1530 to 1571.

Municipality of Lubriano, Italy

 

 

  1. Lubriano is a municipality of around 1200 inhabitants in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 90 kilometres northwest of Rome and about 25 kilometres north of Viterbo. The territory has geological relevance and is seat of Naturalistic Museum, the economy of the town has been focused on farming and wine production, which are actively promoted with several initiatives during the year (Chianina Cow Festival, Wine Festival).

The Municipality of Castiglione in Teverina is in the Province of Viterbo, Lazio region(IT),at about 90 kilometres northwest of Rome and 25 kilometres northeast of Viterbo.

Municipality of Arnot, Hungary

 

 

Arnót is located in the heart of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, at a distance of 8 km east of Miskolc. The village has no railway connection to other settlements, still, it is easily accessible even for international transport on main road No. E 71. The settlement is located in a flat area on the alluvial cones of the Sajó and the Hernád rivers. Arnót is located in the centre of a slightly undulating area of gravel-pebbly deposit.The river pebbles can be found in great amount in the vicinity of the village.The climate is moderately warm and dry and water shortage is characteristic of the whole area. The local flora is typical of the Bükk and Tiszántúl regions.The fields in the vicinity of the village are mostly muddy; they are utilised as ploughlands or pastures. Since the village is not located on the riverbank, it is less attractive for tourists and nature lovers. On the other hand, due to its proximity to the county seat and easy accessibility Arnót is an ideal place for businesses.
